September was the month I finally started to get my shit together. After a tough few months dealing with constant anxiety, I was prescribed an antidepressant. This is my first time taking medication like this and, while it’s quite nerve-wracking, I’m feeling more hopeful about the future. I also took a beautiful 10 day vacation (recap coming to the blog soon but posted below some pics from my Instagram!) that was the perfect reset I needed. All in all, I would say September was a pretty good month!

August was not the gentle month I was hoping for. I struggled with a lot of anxiety for the majority of the month, something I haven’t had to deal with so consistently in so long, and then my dog passed away. August really decided to test me, huh! Reflecting on it now, I can see that during these hardships I leaned on my family and friends for support. I was very open and vulnerable with my anxiety and started a support group chat with others that confided in me their similar struggles. It was terrifying to be so vulnerable but I found a supportive community of people because of it. When Jake passed away, I immediately sheltered myself in my family’s love and we got each other through the first few days without him. This month just proved to me how crucial family and friends are during times of need.

Plan With Me – August: Astrology Forecast, Tarotscope, and Goals & Intentions

Another month come and gone! I really feel like it was just last week that I was writing July’s post. Time moves too quickly and the more I think about it, the more it scares me so let’s not even go there (we’ve only got five months left in this year oh my god). July was such a busy, hectic month for me that I truly didn’t even see coming. We went on a last minute trip to Vegas that was really fun but we were so busy and it was so hot that it wasn’t the most relaxing trip. I was also really worried I would get anxiety (isn’t that ironic?) but overall I handled pretty well! We saw Marshmello live, watched the incredible Cirque Du Soleil’s The Beatles: Love, got a lot of sun, and ate all the best food.
