2019 In Books

At the end of last year, one of the goals I had set for myself for 2019 was to read 24 books, or two books in every month. Well I can happily say I far surpassed that goal…by 16 books! I rediscovered my love for reading new books, as I’ve been known to reread the Harry Potter series every year (I guess you could say I’m a fan). I discovered new favorites and talented authors and had fun exploring new genres as well as old classics. 2019 was definitely the year of reading for me, and I thought a post recapping each book I read this year would be a great way to pay homage to these amazing writers and their works of literary art.

I was mildly nervous to admit to people that I had started taking an antidepressant. I realize I have formed an image of being as consciously organic as possible/reasonable, preaching the benefits of meditation, journaling, and CBD as natural anxiety relievers. I wanted to prove to others but mostly myself that I could handle this on my own, through sheer willpower and determination. I will just meditate the anxiety attacks away. Plan With Me – October: Astrology Forecast, Tarotscope, and Goals & Intentions

September was the month I finally started to get my shit together. After a tough few months dealing with constant anxiety, I was prescribed an antidepressant. This is my first time taking medication like this and, while it’s quite nerve-wracking, I’m feeling more hopeful about the future. My Medication Journey / Week 1-2

Hello readers. If this is your first time on my blog, welcome. I’m a wellness and lifestyle writer who aspires to lead as organic a life as possible. I’ve also got horrible anxiety and depression and have recently started taking medication for it for the first time ever. I’m aware this is quite the oxymoron, but I’ve always been super honest and vulnerable in my posts and that won’t stop now.
