Happy Monday, friends! I don’t know about you, but I am feeling happy and productive on this sunny day. I love when my week starts off like this because it puts me in the mood to prepare for a good week. I love grabbing my multiple planners for all of my different businesses and planning my to-do list for the day. When it ends up looking pretty busy, I make sure I remember to sprinkle some mindfulness practices throughout my list so that I don’t forget to take care of myself. 2019 In Books

At the end of last year, one of the goals I had set for myself for 2019 was to read 24 books, or two books in every month. Well I can happily say I far surpassed that goal…by 16 books! I rediscovered my love for reading new books, as I’ve been known to reread the Harry Potter series every year (I guess you could say I’m a fan). My Medication Journey / Week 1-2

Hello readers. If this is your first time on my blog, welcome. I’m a wellness and lifestyle writer who aspires to lead as organic a life as possible. I’ve also got horrible anxiety and depression and have recently started taking medication for it for the first time ever. I’m aware this is quite the oxymoron, but I’ve always been super honest and vulnerable in my posts and that won’t stop now. Antidepressants are super common but rarely talked about, which is partly why I’ve always been scared of them, so I’m going to detail my journey with them with extreme transparency in hopes of breaking down that stigma. I can be a wellness advocate and still take medication. So, if you’ve ever been curious or are considering medication for yourself, keep on reading!

#ThursdayThoughts: A Discourse on Consumerism

Shopping is fun, it’s so much fun. One of my favorite pastimes is to go to the mall on the weekends and window shop. I’m too impatient to try things on, so I’ll look at everything in person and mull on it for a few weeks and, if the want is still there, purchase it online. That way I can look forward to the package arriving, my very own mini Christmas that takes place every few weeks. My bank account is my own, so no one can see the charges I’m putting on it, and I usually get home before my boyfriend does so I have time to unpack my gifts and throw out the evidence. It’s all a fun game to me, or it was.
