I’m not going to skirt around it, I have been struggling recently. On the heels of being very busy and productive as I had planned to be in August, I found myself reeling from a major anxiety attack. It kept me up for most of the night, I was tossing and turning, shivering and crying. My mind was racing with all the things I had to do both at work and at home and how I just wanted a break from it all. I was completely unable to focus on what I had going on that week and instead was fixated on my entire future. As if that wasn’t enough to worry about, I kept glancing at the clock and counting down the hours of sleep I would have left until it was time to get up and get ready for work. When I finally woke up the next morning, my sleep cycle app told me my sleep quality was at its all-time lowest…60%. I woke up feeling exhausted, irritable, and entirely depressed. Plan With Me – August: Astrology Forecast, Tarotscope, and Goals & Intentions

Another month come and gone! I really feel like it was just last week that I was writing July’s post. Time moves too quickly and the more I think about it, the more it scares me so let’s not even go there (we’ve only got five months left in this year oh my god). July was such a busy, hectic month for me that I truly didn’t even see coming. We went on a last minute trip to Vegas that was really fun but we were so busy and it was so hot that it wasn’t the most relaxing trip. I was also really worried I would get anxiety (isn’t that ironic?) but overall I handled pretty well! We saw Marshmello live, watched the incredible Cirque Du Soleil’s The Beatles: Love, got a lot of sun, and ate all the best food.

Alright guys, today we are really going to get into it. I’ve learned so much about my body in the past few years since I’ve been on this journey of shopping more mindfully and organically. Acne & Acne Scarring: My Current Skincare Routine

Happy Sunday, loves! With summer fresh upon us, I wanted to do a post about my skincare routine because our skin is on full display as we’re spending more time at the beach or the pool on these super hot days. I do not have perfect skin whatsoever, I still deal with acne and I have a lot of scarring on my cheeks. But I’ve found a good routine and medications that keep most of my acne at bay and has been slowly reducing my scarring. It’s taken quite a while, I mean I probably starting dealing with acne when I was 16 and I’m 26 now. But I’ve learned that skin issues are nothing to be ashamed of!
