10 Free Self-Care Ideas For When You Just Can’t Afford That Massage

Happy Sunday, loves! One of my goals for this month is to be more conscious with how I spend my money so that I can save up for a trip I have in September. It can get tough to be frugal but it doesn’t mean that you have to sit at home and do nothing, it just means you have to get a little bit more creative! Especially when it comes to self-care, because those massages and CBD creams add up real quick. I’ve come up with a little list of some self-care ideas you can do when you really need to de-stress but don’t want to spend any money. Plan With Me – August: Astrology Forecast, Tarotscope, and Goals & Intentions

Another month come and gone! I really feel like it was just last week that I was writing July’s post. Time moves too quickly and the more I think about it, the more it scares me so let’s not even go there (we’ve only got five months left in this year oh my god). July was such a busy, hectic month for me that I truly didn’t even see coming. We went on a last minute trip to Vegas that was really fun but we were so busy and it was so hot that it wasn’t the most relaxing trip. I was also really worried I would get anxiety (isn’t that ironic?) but overall I handled pretty well! We saw Marshmello live, watched the incredible Cirque Du Soleil’s The Beatles: Love, got a lot of sun, and ate all the best food.

Everything You Need to Know About Menstrual Cups

Alright guys, today we are really going to get into it. I’ve learned so much about my body in the past few years since I’ve been on this journey of shopping more mindfully and organically. The one area that took me a bit longer to really figure out was my period. I was in my comfort zone (as much as one could be) when it came to my period products that I was afraid to stray from it. Two years ago, I finally took the plunge (lol) and decided to try out a menstrual cup. I’m going to be fully transparent in this post so if that makes you uncomfortable, I would just go ahead and skip this one. But back when I was considering a cup, I would have loved to read a post like this one and I know there are others like me out there! So read on if you want to learn everything there is to know about the menstrual cup.

Acne & Acne Scarring: My Current Skincare Routine

Happy Sunday, loves! With summer fresh upon us, I wanted to do a post about my skincare routine because our skin is on full display as we’re spending more time at the beach or the pool on these super hot days. I do not have perfect skin whatsoever, I still deal with acne and I have a lot of scarring on my cheeks. But I’ve found a good routine and medications that keep most of my acne at bay and has been slowly reducing my scarring. It’s taken quite a while, I mean I probably starting dealing with acne when I was 16 and I’m 26 now. But I’ve learned that skin issues are nothing to be ashamed of! So I’m going to be fully transparent in hopes that some of my tips will help you if you’re dealing with the same thing I am!

A Peek Inside a New Moon Ceremony

Hey guys! I mentioned in a recent post that I had plans to go to a new moon ceremony and I got a few questions about what that sort of thing is like so I thought I would share my experience. The ceremony was hosted at Sacred Roots in Long Beach, CA. They host new moon ceremonies every month and I had been once before, back in December when I was really going through it with my anxiety. It was a bit of a tough experience solely because of my anxiety, so I was excited to head back and give it another go now that I’ve been in a better mindset. Plus, I was going with my sister and doing anything wellness-related (or pretty much anything at all) with her absolutely makes my day. We both had relatively stressful days so the magical night that followed was exactly what the holistic doctor ordered.
