I’m Erica Loera, a 25-year-old wellness addict (she/her) trying to figure out the best way to live a happy and healthy life. I’m a huge believer in ‘what you put in, you get out’ for every aspect of life, from my physical and mental health to my career and hobbies. I’ve learned from experience that prioritizing mindfulness helps you create a better day and be the person you actually want to be. Through A Mindful Moment, I plan to take you along on my real and ever-evolving wellness journey.
Writing has always been something I turned to in my life, whether it was personally or professionally. It took a lot of determination and encouragement from friends, but I finally got A Mindful Moment up and running in May 2019. I was nervous to be vulnerable with friends and strangers alike but I’d like to think that we’re all on this life boat together, trying to figure out how to navigate the choppy waters. Mindfulness is not about perfection. It’s a lifelong trial in figuring out what works for you and what doesn’t, whilst doing your best to be kind to yourself, others, and our planet. I created A Mindful Moment to inspire others to make themselves a priority by investing the time and effort into their own self-care.
